I am totally new to blogging and thought this was the coolest idea... I just HAD to get in on the fun!!!! This weeks SUYL on KellysKorner is about Beauty Tips. Since having a beautiful baby boy, my beauty routine has dramatically changed!!!! Gone are the days of the daily chi straightening and eye liner. Although I am very low maintenance now, I still have a daily regimen I follow.
I use BEAUTY CONTROL (30's) foaming face wash,
and the repair and prevention kit (morning and night). I switched to BEAUTY CONTROL several years ago and really like the products! Once a week, I also use a facial scrub/exfoliator (I make my own from either sugar or sea salt and a small amount of baby oil - It works wonders and is a fraction of the cost of other scrubs!)


For my hair, I LOVE PANTENE! I used to use salon shampoo and conditioner, but this stuff works just as good. I still use CHI straightening cream and serum when I actually have time to straighten my hair in the mornings. It really does smooth the frizzy mane that I have!

As far as makeup, I use all different kinds. I am not a loyal customer to any brand.

SNOW ANGEL

These are pictures from one of our SNOW/ICE days. Logan actually liked it outside and fell back in the snow on his own, twice! He did not like when we came back in though... maybe because the cold snow was falling on his bare skin :)

Snow Days

I have really enjoyed being home these past few weeks because of all of the snow and ice. I am getting a little too used to it. I am just thinking of it as a preview of things to come. Everyone knows it's my desire to ne a SAHM, atleast for a few years. Our schedule has been as follows: I wake up at 5am, Logan gets up about 5:45 to 6:00.(although some days he did sleep in till after 6:30!) we play and cuddle and he takes a nap about 8-8:30 till 9-9:30. This is when I get my sewing and embroidery work in! He wakes and we play and watch a little Elmo or Mickey, and he eats his "food". This repeats about every 3 hours. It's such a joy to be home and I feel blessed to share in his daily explorations! He is a handfull, and I love it!!!

35 weeks

So we went to old navy and Carter's yesterday and just HAD to get this hat.... I think he looks oh so adoreable!!!!!



My baby is 35 weeks today and is getting too big!!!! He is crawling everywhere and pulling up on everything! I cannot believe he is so big and doing so much. He says ma ma ma all the time (especially when he is mad) LOL!
