FAITHFUL CREATIONS

This week on SUYL : TELL US WHAT YOU MAKE, ETSY STORES, ETC.
My ETSY story started 81/2 months ago after the birth of my baby boy. I never thought I would want to be a SAHM, but after returning to work when he was 12 weeks old, I decided that that is what I wanted to be. It hurt me (and still does) to leave him everday! It is the desire of my heart to be with him and teach him and enjoy the times that I can never get back. So I decided to break the sewing machine out and get started on this dream of mine.
I have been praying about staying home and the name "FAITHFUL CREATIONS by SHELLI" is what I decided to name my store. I am stepping out in faith, believing that with God even the impossible can be possible!
My ETSY store is "FAITHFUL CREATIONS by S". It was started in January. I still have MANY things I will be adding, like tutu and shirt sets, travel changing pads, etc.. you can go to the link below to shop or browse my store:

Below are a few of my creations:

This is a cute little onesie with cross applique and a matching burpie.

These are onesie and skirt sets that come in many sizes - the little heart can be embroidered with a name or monogram:

I made a wipe case for my son and then started making more! they are super cute and if you are like me, you want everything to match.

I love this one

I make all kinds of Lovey blankets, but these are a few of my favorites. Flannel or cute cotton on one side and minky or chenille on the other!

This is a matching burpie and bib I made lastnight

A few Burpies - I also monogram or personlaize these with names.

THESE ARE SOME OF MY FAVORITE LITTLE ITEMS - TOOTHFAIRY PILLOWS! CUTE and SWEET but I also have some in camo :)

OK - I am just going post pics below of other items I make (pillowcase dresses, etc...)

PRE-PREGO PANTS

So last night I was trying to figure out what I was going to wear today and I really needed a pair of brown pants. (The pair I bought at Christmas is way too big.) I am participating in a "biggest loser" contest among some friends at work, so I have lost a few pounds. I thought to myself as I looked in my closet, "just try them on". I had tried these pants on several times before Christmas only to find they wouldn't even go over my thighs!!!! Talk about being depressed! So, I took them off the hanger and as I started to put them on... WOW! They actually fit. I've got more junk in the trunk and more around the middle after my bundle of joy, but I got those pants on and they buttoned and zipped without laying down or holding my breath. I am starting to think I might, JUST MIGHT, get into them comfortably some day soon! YEAH :)

My First Craft Show

As most people know, I really am praying for my new business to grow so that I may be a SAHM. I NEVER in a million years thought I would have a child, much less want to stay home! It all changes you - PRAISE GOD! I started sewing again and have been making lots of baby items. From burpies, to skirt and onesie sets, to diaper wipe cases, and more! I recently heard about a small craft show that was happening and signed up for it. It was VERY last minute and I really did not have much time to prepare. It was a very inexpensive registration fee, so I thought, "GO FOR IT"! I really was looking to gain experience and sell a few items. Here is a picture of the booth... (it was in a HS cafeteria - so we were a little limited) I had another table, but both me and my mom forgot out camera bags, so these are Iphone pictures.. SORRY!
Overall, it was a fun day and a good experience. I sold enough to pay for the registration and made a bit more. Mark one craft fair in the books... MANY more to go.
Now that the show is over and I have time, I need to get my ETSY account updated!!!!!!! Can't wait until the next show!!! :)

I had my Dad make a few stands for me to place clothes on. I thought they turned out REALLY nice. I painted them a lavender color.

In this picture, you can acually see where I had my laptop and embroidery machine set up to do custom embroidery work. The embroidery machine was my AWESOME... did I say AWESOME??? AWESOME Gift from my wonderful valentine - my hubby!

This was my sign that I made to promote my booth... Thought it turned out really cute and girly :)

These are some of the outfits I made and had for sale.

Here are a few of the wipe cases I made. I also had burpies amd lovies to match these, as well as all the others I made.

professional pictures - LINDSEY COMBS PHOTOGRAPHY

We had pictures made last Sunday by my favorite photographer ... LINDSEY COMBS. I got her name from a good friend and have been using her ever since. Logan really likes her and does really well during her photo sessions with him. This past session, he was not wanting to smile, but she managed to get a few smiles out of him. If you live anywhere near the Royse City area, you should definately consider her for your next photo session! She has very good rates. She is very relaxed and takes candid shots, which I love more than those "tilt your head here, put your arm there" kind of people . (no... she does not pay me to say these things...LOL)
CUTEST LITTLE FACE

LOOKIN CLASSY

IS THAT A LITTLE SMIRK?

The only smile we got out of him...
He is SOOOO my son wih this look on his face! LOL
I just LOVE LOVE LOVE this kiddo!

37 weeks

I cannot believe Logan is 37 weeks! It amazes me how much he has grown and how much more he is doing these past few weeks. He is crawling everywhere and standing up whenever and wherever he can. He has been "cruising" around from place to place the past week and is getting more confident (which makes me nervous!!!) After we got home from shopping today, I put Logan in shorts because it was so warm. He DID NOT like the way the floor (tile manly) felt on his knees, so he started doing the bear crawl. Everyday he does something to amaze me :) I love him SO very much and get such a kick out of him!
He WILL NOT leave the blocks alone now, so who ever knows what numbers will show up in the pics - the 3 is on the other side of this 8.... LOL :) ( I just try to capture what I can)

36 weeks

My little man and his 36 week pics :)
