RESTORATION LIFE

I do not have a very large church (well, not yet!), but it is an awesome church! It just started back up on June 6, 2010 ... the day my son was born! My pastor moved away several years ago, and then when he and his wife moved back, everyone wanted to know when church was going to be! We started having church in a small church building near my home, and have since moved to a larger building in town. We started having ladies meetings on the 3rd Friday of every month and I really look forward to these times to share and visit with other ladies from the church.

My pastor and his wife are very sweet and caring - like everyone at church. The funny thing is that He used to be my bus driver in middle school and high school. He was actually the best bus driver EVER :)
I am so glad to have the church famliy I do!!!!

PICTURES OF ETSY STUFF

A very sweet and talented lady who takes all of our family photographs recently took photos of some of my ETSY items. Her girls look absolutely ADORABLE in the clothes and she did a great job. If you are in the rockwall area or are remotely close, she is a WONDERFUL photographer!!!

SATURDAY NIGHT

On Saturday we went to my SIL's BDAY dinner at an Italian restaurant. It was the first time we had really gotten Logan out of his routine in about a month or so. He did really well and we enjoyed the night. Before we got to the restaurant, we stopped for a few minutes to play at the park. It was SUPER nice out and we all enjoyed playing. ( I made him the little shirt an short set and thought it turned out really cute!)

At the restaurant, Logan was enjoying going from person to person and playing with everything on the table! He really likes his older cousin Joel and Joel plays so well with him. Here is a cute picture of Joel holding Logan.... Logan really wanted that pizza crust!!!

42 WEEKS

MY BABY BOY TURNED 42 WEEKS SUNDAY... WOW!
He is climbing on EVERYTHING, BABBLING like crazy, and has tooth numbers 4 and 5 about to emerge!!! (all in about 2 weeks)
It is HARD to believe that he will be 1 so soon!

MORE TEETH!

Logan now has 2 top teeth and another about to emerge. The 4th tooth isn's far behind! 4 teeth in a week??? WOW
Still not bottom teeth yet, but I imagine it will not be long.

MY FIRST TOOTH

So evidently Logan cut his first tooth and Chris discovered it yesterday afternoon!!! I cannot get him to open and he will not let us see it much (I am sure it is sore!) We were looking for his botton front or top front teeth to come in since they typically come in first. Logan now has a tooth that is to the left of his front top teeth. WOW!Soon he will not have that toothless grin... he is growing up TOO fast!

41 weeks

WOW - 41 weeks has flown by SO very fast. I know most people stop counting weeks once their kiddos get past 4 weeks, but this is something I said I would do until Logan is 1 year old! Who knows.. he may be taking these block pictures until he is 18?? YEAH, RIGHT! As you can see by the pictures below, I can barely get him AND the blocks in the same picture. I took LOTS but he always turned away before I could get any god ones. He is saying HI and waving his little hands. It is so sweet. He is even almost saying fan. His favorite thing to do lately is to wave HI and BYE to anyone, but especially the fan in the living room. LOL

Today is the last day of spring break, and i am NOT looking forward to work Monday! I LOVE my job, but something about a baby changes your world. I would be happy to just sit home and enjoy him until he goes to school. (and by sit home, I mean chase him around, do laundry, clean up his mess, etc!!!)

Today he was sleeping during the time I would have been going to church, so I didn't get to go. I hate to wake him because he isn't the best sleeper, so I let him take all he time he needs. My mom and I went craft shopping after he woke up, and we ended up at Target. Logan liked the little buckets I was buying and my mom just had to put those bunny ears on him. We had a great time, bought too much stuff, and now he is sleeping again. (MOMMY BREAK)

I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL SUMMER... I am JUST saying!!!!

Gentle Zoo

A friend on FaceBook posted about this place called Gentle Zoo in Forney, so I figured why not try it out? My friend Janet and her two girls met us there. It was a beautiful sunny day- a little windy - but otherwise perfect weather! They had quite a bit of animals that you could pet and feed. Logan especially like the goats. He was laughing at them eating the food Janet bought for us to feed them. They had bunny rabbits, a nutra, chickens, turkey, llama, pigs, etc. They also had a bounce house, which we obviously didn't get in. Logan enjoyed the sandbox and riding the horses. (the kind you put $ in to ride) LOL

SBRING BREAK at the PARK

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!! I got this little shirt for Logan a while back and I am glad I remembered it! I think his expression says alot on the first picture... he finally woke up and was in a great mood after that!!!

My BEST FRIEND asked me to meet up at a park near where we live, so of course I wanted to get out since it was so nice. It was REALLY windy, but the sun finally came out and we had a blast. Her kids are older than Logan, but we got to visit and talk a little bit. My hubby got to stop by on his lunch break and hang out, too! I was so glad and of course Logan was happy to see Daddy!

Logan REALLY liked the swings. He was just chilling out and enjoyed relaxing as I pushed him.

I put Logan on this little thing and he enjoyed it, too. I was a little concerned he would fall through though since he does not sit still! LOL This is when my hubby showed up.

Logan enjoyed the slide but we obviously had to help him. He wanted to go himself though!

The last thing we did was put a blanket down for a snack and so that Logan could crawl around. He cracks me up! This time he actually got on the grass - but not much. I am sure its just a matter of time before he eats it or is rolling in it!

SPRING BREAK at THE ARBORETUM

This week has been a great week for Spring Break! I was determined to get out and about, so Logan and I went to the arboretum 2 days in a row. We had a BLAST both days and are ready to go back soon!

On Tuesday we went to the Arboretum with Erica (my SIL) and my friend from work and her daughter. Luckily Logan slept the whole way up here so we had a lot of time to look around before his next nap. Here are a few pics of when we first arrived... HE LOVES HIS SUNGLASSES!!!

I could not believe how beautiful the blooms were! I really wish I had someone to make my backyard look like this.

Here are a few pictures of me and Logan. It was such a nice day - a little cool at the start, but warmed up eventually.

We stopped about halfway through our walk so Logan could get out and play around a bit. I loved the expressions he was making feeling of the grass! He loved it. I got a really good picture of him and Hannah.

OK - ARBORETUM PART II - WEDNESDAY with NANA

We left AFTER he had a nap this time, but he still enjoyed the day (and of course his nana and I did, too!) We got there later than the previous day, and the parking lot looked full - just as we were pulling through the lot, a person was leaving - PRAISE THE LORD!!! :) Here are some pictures of when we first arrived.

We looked at all the flowers and strolled around to some of the castles they had set up. After about n hour, we stopped and set out a blanket and ate lunch. Logan was in awe of the birds that were around us. I think they ate more goldfish than Logan did!!!!

My mom took this after lunch (and diaper change) - He looks like he is taking a picture of her!

I am so glad Logan enjoyed the day and that the weather was so nice! I just loved going, especially 2 days in a row! i would go again tomorrow if I didn't already have plans!! LOL
